Are Peppernuts eaten abroad?

More and more people outside our borders are enjoying pepernoot cookies. For example, we have had stores in Germany and Belgium for several years and some supermarkets sell it there as well. Especially in the border areas, the Germans and Belgians know our delicacy well. There they are also simply called pepernoot cookies .
